About Radar
Radar Dating is a location-based dating service for adults, operated from Lithuania by Lukas Skaburskis under the Radar Dating brand.
Contact: radardating.support@gmail.com
Correspondence address: 287 Lincoln Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11207, United States.
The address is for correspondence; Radar operates from Lithuania. These Terms govern your use of the Radar Dating web app. You must agree to them before creating an account.
Who can use Radar
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Provide accurate information about yourself, including your date of birth, and use photos that represent you. Do not impersonate someone else or create an account on another person’s behalf.
We may request information reasonably necessary to investigate suspected underage use or impersonation. Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 will be removed.
Your account and free access
Keep your login details secure and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not share, sell or transfer your account, or create another account to bypass a restriction or ban.
Radar is free at launch. If paid features are introduced, their prices and terms will be explained before purchase. You will not be charged without your agreement.
Respectful use
Use Radar respectfully and lawfully. Do not harass, threaten, stalk, bully or discriminate against others. Respect refusals and boundaries. A wave, match or accepted approach does not mean consent to physical contact, sexual activity or further communication.
Do not upload sexually explicit content, content involving sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or intimate images shared without consent. Do not impersonate people, run scams, send spam or use deceptive requests for money.
Do not publish another person’s private information or location without permission, upload illegal content or infringe another person’s rights. Do not use Radar for unsolicited advertising or commercial solicitation.
Do not scrape profiles or locations, use unauthorised bots, bypass privacy or security controls, access accounts without permission or interfere with Radar’s operation.
Your photos and content
You retain ownership of your content. Only upload material you own or have permission to share, including permission from identifiable people where required.
You give Radar a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, process and display your content as necessary to operate the service, including displaying your profile and reviewing photos and reports. Service providers may process content on our behalf for these purposes.
This permission does not authorise external advertising using your photos without separate permission. It ends when your content or account is deleted, except for limited retention necessary for backups, legal obligations or investigating abuse, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Profile photos use publicly accessible storage links. Someone with a link may view a photo outside the app. Information already viewed or saved by another person cannot always be recalled.
Location and safe zones
Radar uses device location for nearby discovery. It can obtain precise device coordinates, and other signed-in users may receive your published coordinates and distance. Location information may be inaccurate or delayed.
The app generally evaluates position updates every five minutes while the live map is active. This is not a guaranteed delay or a guarantee of reduced precision. Closing the app does not immediately hide your last published position; discovery excludes positions more than two hours old, measured from their last publication.
Active safe zones normally cover a 500-metre radius around a place you choose. They are intended to exclude you from discovery when your stored published position falls inside the zone. GPS accuracy and update timing can affect when exclusion takes effect.
Safe zones do not guarantee personal safety or prevent someone from inferring your whereabouts. Review your permissions and avoid sharing addresses or sensitive location details in your profile. The Privacy Policy explains location processing and your controls.
Connections and personal safety
Radar does not guarantee a suitable match, a relationship, the accuracy of another person’s statements or their conduct. Compatibility calculations are suggestions.
Photos and reports are reviewed manually by Radar’s operator. A reviewed photo or verification label is not a criminal background check or a guarantee of identity or safety.
Use your judgment when interacting or meeting. Meet in public, tell someone you trust about your plans and avoid sending money or sensitive information to people you do not know.
Radar’s safety controls, including disconnect features, are not emergency response services. For immediate danger, contact emergency services.
Reports and moderation
Report suspected violations or illegal content using the available reporting features or by emailing radardating.support@gmail.com. Identify the account or content, explain your concern and provide enough information for us to locate and assess it.
Radar’s operator reviews photos and reports manually. Depending on the nature, seriousness and circumstances of a violation, we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, suspend an account or permanently ban it. We may take prompt protective action where necessary to address a credible safety or security risk.
We assess reports and restrictions fairly and proportionately. Where required by law, we provide the reason for a restriction and information about available remedies. Information may be withheld where disclosure is prohibited by law or would compromise another person’s safety.
If you believe a decision was incorrect, email radardating.support@gmail.com with your account details and explanation. The operator will reconsider the decision in light of the information you provide. This does not limit any other remedies available under applicable law.
Leaving Radar
You can stop using Radar at any time. To request account deletion, email radardating.support@gmail.com from your registered email address. We may take proportionate steps to verify ownership.
Verified deletion requests are handled manually within 30 days, subject to applicable legal exceptions, as described in the Privacy Policy. Opening a deletion screen or email composer, logging out or uninstalling the app does not itself delete your account.
Availability and service changes
We take reasonable care in operating Radar, but interruptions, errors and maintenance may occur.
We may change features for legitimate reasons, including improving the service, protecting users, addressing technical issues or meeting legal requirements. Where a change materially affects your access or use, we will give appropriate notice where reasonably possible and as required by law, and respect any applicable right to end the agreement.
If Radar closes, we will give reasonable advance notice where possible and explain how account data will be handled.
Responsibility and your rights
You are responsible for your content and conduct; other users are responsible for theirs. Our responsibility for loss or damage is determined by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer or data protection rights.
Updates to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Radar, safety practices or legal requirements. We will publish the updated Terms with their effective date and give advance notice of material changes, unless an urgent legal or security reason requires shorter notice.
Where your agreement is required, we will ask for it. If you do not agree, you may stop using Radar and request account deletion. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights you have already acquired.
Applicable law and complaints
These Terms are governed by Lithuanian law. If you are a consumer, this does not remove mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence.
Email radardating.support@gmail.com about complaints or disputes. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from contacting a competent authority or bringing proceedings in a court available to you under applicable law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain and delete personal information. Accepting these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for processing personal information.
